  1. Eat an apple as your fruit (get the fiber for free) and drink 2 glasses of water and that small snack is a natural appetite supressant
  2. Use salad spritzers to help count calories – it feels like you get more on your salad then measuring it out
  3. Make brown rice taste better boil it in fat free or low sodium chicken or beef broth instead of water
  4. Always eat dark lettuce leaves – head lettuce is full of water and has no nutritienal value
