The INCOG wants you to "Go Green" and win throughout the month of August. First, try commuting another way (bike, bus, carpool, telecommute, or compress your work week). Then log at least one trip during any week of August on the commute tracker, and you'll be entered to win a free "commuter prize pack" from "Green Traveler." They'll be giving away two each week. Help Our Troops
"Scoops for the Troops" a HUGE Success!
K95 listeners helped raise $20,000 for Oklahoma Blue Star Mothers at the recent "Scoops for the Troops" event held at area Reasor's stores. The money raised goes to send "Freedom Boxes" to our troops serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and on any hostile foreign soil. The "Freedom Boxes" contain items like: sunglasses, sunscreen, socks, candy, gum, snack foods, tea bags, chapstick, toothbrushes & mouthwash, AA or AAA batteries for handheld games and toilet paper to name a few items. These boxes are just a small way to say “thank you for your sacrifice and patriotism to our nation” and to let the troops know there will always be people back home thinking about them and praying for them.
