Mindy McCready is returning to rehab after an apparent "suicide attempt" combining vodka and the sleep aid Ambien, according to TMZ.com. Mindy reportedly went off the deep end late last week after getting dumped by her last boyfriend, and actually collapsed while on the phone with her mother. Word is Dr. Phil McGraw suggested she enter a treatment facility in Arizona and that he has taken McCready under his wing as his own "personal project." No word whether she'll be on his show. Yesterday Mindy's rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com,"Mindy McCready did receive emergency care at [Nashville's] Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Other issues made it prudent for her to seek longer term and broader based treatment. To her credit, she has entered into an extended care facility where she will receive the care needed and for the moment we ask that everyone respect her privacy."

Matthew Broderick is allegedly having an affair with a 25-year-old youth counselor he met at a bar earlier this year. Eyewitnesses claim to have seen the two together numerous times while Sarah Jessica Parker was in LA filming Sex and the City: The Movie, according to Star: Sources say the woman felt conflicted with her relationship with Matthew, whom she nicknamed "Matty Cakes." She tried to end it, say insiders, but that didn't happen and over the next month — when Sarah Jessica was filming Sex and the City: The Movie in Los Angeles — multiple eyewitnesses say they saw Matthew make late-night visits to the other woman's apartment building. During one tryst, they arrived at her friend's apartment after a night of heavy drinking, says a source. She dragged Matthew into the friend's bedroom, then shut the door. "A half hour later, Matthew opened the bedroom door, mumbled 'Well... 'bye!' and walked out. The friend found her passed out on the bed in her panties."

Matthew McConaughey shows off his newborn son Levi in this week's issue of OK! magazine. Inside, Matthew reveals that he was very involved during Levi's birth, and was a constant support for girlfriend Camila Alves. "We had a 14-hour session, her and I did. I sat there with her, right between her legs," said Matt. "We got tribal on it. We danced to it. I was DJing this native Brazilian music." Although they wanted a natural birth, Camila wound up having a C-section, which gave Matt some extra time to bond with his son. "I had him for the first 15 minutes because they had to take care of Camila," he explained. "I said, 'come here, little man.' I saw the pecker and screamed that we'd been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to her." And Matthew thinks Levi is already a chip off the old block. He explained, "I've pulled out some baby pictures of myself, and the resemblance is amazing. This kid has a lot to learn from us. Three weeks after giving birth to a healthy baby girl, Thomas Beatie, the first legally transgendered male to give birth, is showing off his new daughter in the pages of People magazine. Beatie and wife Nancy welcomed 9 lb, 5 oz Susan Juliette on June 29th after 40 hours of labor. The name Susan is after Thomas's mother, while Juliette is Nancy's middle name. "She's so precious I just can't stop staring at her," Thomas tells the mag. "Just holding her is the best feeling in the world." And in a move that's guaranteed to annoy most women, Thomas reveals that his body has already bounced back into shape. He explained, "I weigh two pounds less than I did before I got pregnant. And I don't have a single stretch mark." Thomas and his wife are now adjusting to their new schedule, which includes Nancy breastfeeding (by induced lactation) baby Susan.
